An assessment center is a place at which a person, such as a member of staff, is assessed to determine their suitability for particular roles, especially management or technical and look at a upward career progression in terms of Promotion. The candidates’ personality and aptitudes are determined by a variety of techniques. It helps in identifying the gaps between the exhibited competencies as against the desired competencies.
