Position/TitleCompliance Manager
    Job Purpose-We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Compliance Manager to oversee and ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements related to the Factories Act, Fire Act, Environmental Act, and other applicable laws.
-The role also includes acting as a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for export customers, managing compliance-related queries, and ensuring smooth collaboration.
-The ideal candidate will work closely with government departments and internal stakeholders to maintain operational excellence.
  Role, &  Responsibilities Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all provisions of the Factories Act, Fire Act, Environmental Act, and other industrial and labor regulations.
-Conduct periodic audits to maintain compliance and address gaps proactively.
-Monitor updates and amendments in laws and implement necessary changes in company policies and procedures.
Government Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies such as labor departments, fire safety authorities, pollution control boards, and other statutory entities.
-Facilitate inspections, obtain necessary approvals, and resolve compliance-related issues with government officials.
-Ensure timely submissions of licenses, permits, and statutory filings.  
Export Customer Management: Act as the SPOC for export customers, addressing compliance-related queries and providing required documentation.
-Collaborate with internal teams to ensure export requirements are met in adherence to international compliance standards.
-Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in all interactions with export customers.
Risk and Policy Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to statutory non-compliance. -Develop and implement company-wide compliance policies and practices.
-Track renewal dates for licenses and certifications, ensuring timely updates.
Training and Awareness: Conduct workshops and training sessions for employees on statutory, safety, and environmental compliance requirements.
-Promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of compliance-related documentation, licenses, and customer requirements.
-Prepare and submit compliance reports to senior management and export customers as needed.
Key Performance Measures-Experience as a compliance lead in export-driven manufacturing setups.
-Proven track record in managing customer queries related to export documentation and compliance.
-Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.  
Experience & Preferred SkillsEducational Background:  
-Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
-A postgraduate degree/diploma in labor laws, environmental management, or export compliance is preferred.  
Experience:  
-Minimum 8–10 years of experience in compliance management within a manufacturing or export-oriented organization, with a focus on statutory adherence and customer-facing roles.    
Knowledge:
-Comprehensive understanding of the Factories Act, Fire Act, Environmental Act, and other relevant laws.
-Familiarity with international compliance standards for export businesses.
-Experience in handling inspections, audits, and certifications.  
Skills:  
-Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with government authorities and export customers.
-Excellent organizational and time management skills with a focus on attention to detail.
-Proficiency in MS Office and compliance management tools/software.
CompensationUp to ₹15 Lakhs per annum
