Position/Title | Head – IT |
Job Purpose | -Working knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Management, SAP implementation, Sales force automation, HRMIS and Warehouse Management. -As the IT Head, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization’s information technology infrastructure and systems. -Your primary objective will be to ensure the efficient operation of IT systems, networks, and applications, while also strategically plan or future technology needs to support the company’s goals and objectives. -You will lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, direction, and support to drive innovation, improve efficiency, and enhance the overall performance of the IT department. |
Role, & Responsibilities | –Strategic Planning Develop and implement an IT strategy aligned with the organization’s objectives. Identify opportunities to leverage technology for competitive advantage and business growth. Evaluate emerging technologies and make recommendations for adoption or integration. -Team Leadership Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including system administrators, network engineers, developers, and support staff. Set clear goals and objectives for the team and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the IT department. –Infrastructure Management Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services. Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems and data through the implementation of best practices and security measures. Monitor system performance and reliability and take proactive measures to address issues and minimize downtime. -Application Management Manage the selection, deployment, and maintenance of business-critical applications and software systems. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure that IT solutions meet their needs. Provide support and training to end-users to maximize the effectiveness and usability of IT applications. –Budget Management Develop and manage the IT department budget, including forecasting and cost-benefit analysis for IT initiatives and projects. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements while ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services. -Compliance and Risk Management Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards governing IT operations, data privacy, and security. Implement policies and procedures to mitigate IT risks and ensure business continuity in the event of a disaster or security breach. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address areas of vulnerability or non-compliance. –Vendor Management Evaluate and manage relationships with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure the quality and cost-effectiveness of outsourced IT services. Negotiate contracts and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that vendors meet agreed-upon standards and deliverables. –Stakeholder Communication Communicate effectively with senior management, department heads, and other stakeholders to provide updates on IT projects, initiatives, and performance. Act as a liaison between the IT department and other business units to facilitate collaboration and alignment of IT objectives with overall business goals. |

Experience & Preferred Skills | -The key Proficiency should be in End-to-End implementation of SAP(ERP) and Rollout for a manufacturing Company. -Candidate should also have implemented Zing HR(ERP) or similar ERP software in any of his previous company. -He should have experience in handling an IT infrastructure with a manpower of 5000+. Most preferably candidates should be from Manufacturing Industry. |
