Job Purpose | -The IT Head will be responsible for the end‑to‑end management of SAP S/4 HANA across all modules and for driving enterprise‑wide automation to improve efficiency, agility and data‑driven decision‑making. – The role requires an individual with a deep understanding of manufacturing and supply‑chain processes, a digital‑first mindset, and the ability to integrate multiple SaaS platforms into a cohesive technology ecosystem. |
Role, & Responsibilities | SAP S/4 HANA Leadership Integration & Enhancement: -Lead the integration and continuous improvement of SAP S/4 HANA modules (PP, MM, SD, FICO, QM, PM, WM etc.) across manufacturing, warehousing, inventory management, production planning, accounting and preventive maintenance. System Optimisation: -Ensure high availability, performance and security of SAP environments. -Plan and execute upgrades, patches, migrations and enhancements in line with business requirements and industry best practices. Process Alignment: -Translate business processes into SAP workflows & champion best‑practice standardisation Training & Change Management: Develop user training and support programmes to maximise adoption of SAP functionality and ensure data quality. Process Automation & Efficiency Opportunity Identification: -Work with functional leaders to analyse end‑to‑end processes and identify opportunities for automation and digital improvement across manufacturing, warehousing, inventory management, production planning, maintenance, finance, document management and expense management. –Hands‑on Implementation: Deploy automation solutions (e.g., RPA, IoT, machine‑learning‑driven forecasting and scheduling tools) that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy and shorten cycle times. –Continuous Improvement: Establish a framework for measuring process efficiency and implement dashboards/metrics to drive ongoing improvements. 3. Data & Analytics Business Intelligence: Own the BI platform and data warehouse; develop and maintain dashboards and self‑service analytics tools that provide actionable insights for executives and functional teams. Data Governance: Establish policies and standards for data quality, master‑data management and data security. Ensure that operational and financial data are reconciled across SAP and other systems. Advanced Analytics: Champion the use of predictive and prescriptive analytics (e.g., demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, spend analysis) to inform strategic decisions. 4. SaaS Platforms & Digital Ecosystem Platform Management: Oversee the portfolio of non‑SAP SaaS platforms, including HRMS, retail POS, vendor & customer portals, sales force automation (SFA), document management (DMS) and expense management. Ensure these systems are secure, scalable and integrated with SAP. Integration & Interoperability: Design and maintain APIs and middleware to ensure seamless data flow between SAP and all SaaS applications. Prioritise a single source of truth and avoid data silos. Vendor & Contract Management: Manage relationships with SaaS vendors, negotiate contracts and service‑level agreements, and monitor performance. Evaluate new platforms and technologies that align with the company’s digital‑first strategy. 5. IT Infrastructure & Security Hybrid Infrastructure Management: Own the on‑premises and cloud infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, databases, end‑user devices). Drive cloud adoption and resource optimisation across AWS/Azure, as appropriate. Cyber‑Security & Compliance: Implement and enforce information‑security policies, disaster‑recovery plans and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits. End‑User Computing & Service Management: Ensure availability and reliability of end‑user devices and support services. Implement ITIL/ITSM practices to deliver consistent, high‑quality service. 6. Strategic Leadership & Digital Mindset Technology Vision: -Define and execute a multi‑year IT strategy that aligns technology investments with business objectives and drives a digital‑first culture. Budgeting & Resource Management: -Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost‑effective use of resources. Plan for capital and operational expenditures and track ROI on digital initiatives. Team Development: -Lead, mentor and develop a high‑performing IT team. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning. Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews. Stakeholder Management: -Partner with executive leadership, department heads and external partners to prioritise projects, manage expectations and communicate progress. |

Experience & Preferred Skills | Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field; Master’s degree or MBA preferred. Professional certifications (SAP, cloud certifications) are advantageous. Experience: -15+ years in IT roles with at least 3 years in leadership within manufacturing or consumer‑goods industries. -Demonstrated hands‑on experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation and management across multiple modules. Technical Skills: -Deep knowledge of SAP architecture, integration technologies (IDoc, OData, EDI), and enhancement tools. -Strong understanding of process automation (RPA tools, workflow automation, IoT platforms).Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), API management and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI).Exposure to data‑analytics platforms (Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud) and data warehousing. -Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance regulations. Soft Skills: Strategic thinker with a digital‑first, innovation mindset. Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
