Position/TitleState Head-Jharkhand
    Job Purpose-To lead, plan, and execute the General Trade business for the state of Jharkhand, driving sustainable revenue growth, market expansion, and brand visibility for the company’s kitchen appliances and cookware portfolio.
-The role will focus on distributor management, team leadership, market penetration, and achievement of sales and market share targets across key cities
  Role, &  Responsibilities 1. Sales & Revenue Management ·      
Own the state-level sales plan, targets, and execution in alignment with zonal and national business objectives.
· Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual primary and secondary sales targets across all product categories.
· Drive sell-in and sell-out through effective trade schemes, promotions, and distribution expansion. · Ensure adherence to company policies on pricing, discounts, and credit management.
2. Channel & Market Development
· Strengthen and expand the General Trade distribution network across Jharkhand, ensuring deep market penetration in urban and semi-urban markets.
· Appoint, develop, and manage distributors, dealers, and sub-dealers, ensuring healthy ROI and service levels.
· Improve market coverage, outlet productivity, and numeric distribution.
· Track competitor activities, pricing, and new product launches; share actionable market insights with leadership.
3. Team Leadership
·Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Territory Sales Officers (TSOs), and Sales Executives within the state.
·Set clear KPIs and conduct regular performance reviews, field coaching, and joint market visits. ·  Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, execution excellence, and customer focus.
·Support recruitment, onboarding, and capability development of the sales team.

4. Trade Marketing & Execution
 . Ensure effective implementation of trade marketing programs, retailer visibility initiatives, and in-store activations.
·Coordinate with marketing teams for localized campaigns, product launches, and merchandising execution.
· Drive focus categories and priority SKUs to improve market share and shelf visibility.

5. Planning, Forecasting & Operations
· Prepare state-level sales forecasts, demand plans, and distributor inventory norms in coordination with SCM and finance teams.
· Monitor secondary sales, stock health, aging, claims, and trade spends.
· Ensure timely submission of MIS reports, dashboards, and market feedback.
· Drive adoption of CRM/SAP sales modules and digital reporting tools.

6. Relationship Management

·  Build strong relationships with key distributors, large retailers, and trade partners across the state.
· Resolve channel issues, claims, and escalations promptly to maintain high service standards.
·  Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and service teams for seamless execution.

Experience & Preferred SkillsEducation: Graduate in Business, Commerce, or related field; MBA (Sales & Marketing) preferred.
Experience: 8–12 years of sales experience in kitchen appliances, consumer durables, cookware, or FMCG.
At least 3–5 years in a state-level or senior area leadership role.
